Fr. Johnson PilgrimageThe Parish Council in the August 25, 1947 Minutes resolved to make a pilgrimage annually to Fr. Kyrill Johnson's gravesite in Ipswich. Fr. Johnson was pastor of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lawrence, Mass. from 1938 to 1947. Under his guidance, the current church building was consecrated in 1946 and the parishioners of St. George have celebrated Liturgy on 8 Lowell Street since that time.
